The tour will start from the quay where your ship arrives. When we arrive in Rome I will drive you to enjoy the best bird's-eye view of this incredible city, pointing and explaining you what we are seeing. Our first stop is the Marcello theater (explanation), then up to the capitoline hill with the van to have the best Panoramic view of the Forum (explanation),(this is very exclusive, because buses and regular cars can't drive in there), than explanation of the habitations of the Romans, explanation of Venice square . So driving through the imperial forums street, few stops for pictures and explanations. Arrival at the Coliseum, explanation and facility to go in. After that view of the circus Maximums and the Palatine hill with Stop and explanation of the origins of Rome. Than a quick stop in the Aventine hill, to enjoy the Surprise of the key hall. At this Point we have the visit of Trevi fountain,Navona square , the pantheon and,drive in the Spanish square, S.peter square Lunch time with typical Roman cuisine, or a slice of the best Italian Pizza, or a Typical Panino. At around 2 pm we should than meet the official guide of the Vatican and start the tour if you need this opportunity, or tour to your own and enjoy the best museum of the world The Vatican Museums are enormous, about 1500 rooms, but we'll only see about 20% of what they have there on our way to the Sistine Chapel. Normally we visit the Cortile della Pigna, Belvedere, Pio Clementino Museum, the Gallery of Candelabra, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of Maps, Raphael's Rooms and finally the Sistine Chapel. From the Sistine we'll go directly to St. Peter's Basilica. After visiting St. Peter's you'll want to take some pictures of the square, shop for souvenirs and/or get a drink. While you do that,I will meet you according with the guide and drive you back to Civitavecchia to be there around 5/5.15 pm. **Please dress respectfully for visiting religious monuments; local custom requires covering knees and shoulder.
